If you are a non-EU citizen, within 8 working days of your arrival in Italy, you have to complete a so-called “kit” to apply for a residence permit.
The International Students Office of Politecnico will explain step-by-step how to fill out your residence permit request.
The kit is available at all the post offices bearing a “Sportello Amico” sign, but will also be given to you at the end of the presentation and it will be available during the whole welcome week at the infodesk.

The International Mobility Unit will carry out a meeting specifically for students who hold a NON-UE citizenship coming from an UE University. In order to register your arrival in Italy, you have to submit the declaration of presence form (Dichiarazione di presenza) within 8 days after your arrival. The office, you will provide more information during the meeting.
