Equipment
Inside the Small Carpentry Lab you can find small carpentry machines and equipment for cutting expanded plastic materials:
- electric scroll saws for cutting wood and rigid plastic;
- belt and disc sanders for sanding wood and rigid plastic;
- hot wire machines for cutting expanded plastic materials;
- drill presses for drilling wood.
How to access
In this space you can work independently after self-training and brief training by the staff on the safe use of the machines.
For self-training, read the documents in the section Guides and instructions.
Training takes place from Monday to Friday at 10 am or 2pm. For groups larger than 6 people, reservations are required at labora@polimi.it.
If you have any doubts about the use of the machines and the materials to be processed, contact the staff.
