Support gender equality in STEM subjects
Girls@Polimi scholarships are intended for female students in the fourth and fifth years of high school who plan to enrol in Engineering degree programmes with low female representation. The aim of the initiative is to bring girls closer to STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), where a significant gender gap still exists today, and to support them throughout their studies.
The project is supported by 88 donors (including companies, foundations and alumni) who, since 2019, have donated more than €3,500,000 to support 152 female students
